In a nutshell, in a Physician - Contract NP relationship:

   I am a mid-level provider with strong clinical skills, and a nurse entrepreneur (a
"nursepreneur"). I've worked within large health care systems -- and was paid to sit and wait,
while my collaborating physicians slaved over packed schedules. Today, I prefer my contract
employment -- I actually provide care to patients and receive compensation for the time I work,
not the time I wait!

   As a Contract Nurse Practitioner, I arrange with physicians to handle patient workloads
that are too time-consuming or too low-return to fit into a busy practice. No one likes to turn
away a patient, but it hurts to know that some visits take money out of your practice and prevent
you from seeing higher level patients. With my Contract Nurse Practitioner services, you can
keep the patients, and continue to build your bottom line!

   I've found that everyone benefits by this contract arrangement:

patients receive in-depth person-centered care, even if their physician is occupied
physicians improve their bottom line with little expense and very little additional
paperwork
and I work less but enjoy it more.

		Your Contract NP will see patients who are low-level, time-consuming, off-
		premises (such as nursing home -- or even house calls!)
		Your Contract NP is paid a flat hourly "Independent Contractor" rate -- no
		insurance, no taxes, no per diem, no paperwork (beyond a time sheet and year end 1099 form), no headaches.
		Your Contract NP works as little or as much as you need at your practice -- no
		guaranteed minimum number of hours!
		Your Contract NP maintains the highest levels of professional standards,
		plus has a clear understanding of alternative self-treatments patients may be using.
		You receive a typewritten SOAP format report (or whatever format you desire)
		on each patient on the schedule you set (hours/days).
